This pattern is just stunning! 😍 I love the little flick at the bottom of the skirt. It just adds such life and movement. Also creates a beautiful silhouette by accentuating the hip area. So feminine and pretty ❤️ also the seller is so sweet and attentive. I really appreciate that 🌷

If you cut on the bias, the darts lay funny no matter how much you mess with them. I tried longer, shorter and closer together and always ended up with weird bubbles. Also the bias cut makes the hem flip up near the side seams, which have this little angle out in the corners. If I made the this pattern again, I would straighten out the side seams and put the shaping in the hip seam, not back darts. I cut an 8 based on my measurements, but took the waist and upper hips in to the size six. Following the instructions will get you a skirt that will most likely fall apart in the wash. If you don't have much experience sewing, definitely look up some tutorials on finishing seams, facings, and zips. I also put in a lining, and lined the facing.
